December 2025 Update

olya leading a bible study group

The year 2025 has come to an end. For us, it was another challenging year, especially in the last few months. We endured numerous casualties, widespread destruction, long power outages, and disruptions to water and heating in many cities. The brutality of enemy attacks continues to escalate, causing immense suffering, forced evacuations, and a significant increase in needs. These circumstances have demanded great effort in our work and ministry, presenting challenges far removed from what we would consider a normal life. Yet, we have endured, we continue to persevere, and we enter the New Year with hope. This resilience is possible largely because of your support and help. We are sincerely grateful and praise our Lord for sustaining us!

Ministry Activities

Throughout December, as throughout last year, our work continued. We served people both through the Word and through practical actions. Increasingly, our focus has been to draw attention to the testimony about Christ. By helping with material needs, we seek to reveal the greatest need of all—salvation and forgiveness of sins through faith in and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is the primary reason for the Lord creating His Church. We pray that one day hearts will open fully to accept God's great mercy and grace.

At the beginning of December, we held another support group for those away from home. This time, more people joined, including both regular participants and newcomers. Once again, Olya brought positive energy, a friendly atmosphere, and heartfelt conversation to the gathering. As usual, the event was accompanied by aromatic tea and treats. These meetings are always uplifting, and it was wonderful to see everyone leave encouraged and joyful!

Christmas Celebration

A special event in December was our celebration of Christmas on December 25. We gathered as a church family and welcomed guests. Before the celebration began, our sisters and some women among the guests prepared food for the festive table. During the gathering, we sang songs honoring God, prayed, and reflected on God’s Word. We presented gifts to the children and prayed especially for God's protection and blessings for them. Finally, we all enjoyed delicious food and wonderful fellowship around the festive table. Glory to the Lord!

Outreach

We continue our ministry of providing material assistance to those in need. To sum up this work, here are a few figures: nearly 100 families received help in December in the form of food, hygiene products, medicine, clothing, footwear, and other necessities. Additionally, more than 20 families with young children received special care packages for their little ones. We also continue to support the family of wounded soldier Sasha, both spiritually and materially.

Whenever possible, we hold individual meetings with people to study God’s Word. These sessions often involve searching for and, with God's help, finding answers to difficult and pressing questions.

As is our tradition, a few relevant photos are attached to this letter.

Again and again, we thank you for everything! We wish you a Happy New Year! May God bless you!

With love in the Lord,

Oleksandr Kolosha
