This past winter was extremely difficult for our country and its people. Although many persistent problems continue to cause suffering for Ukrainians, the changing of the seasons—established by God at the creation of the world—brings encouragement and lifts our spirits.

February brought us some relief. Although, following the enemy's massive attacks on our energy infrastructure, we faced strict power outage schedules for about two weeks, meaning electricity was available for only 2 - 3 hours a day.

We faced major challenges as the New Year started. The reason for this was a whole set of factors during January. The horrors of war and long blackouts compounded the unpredictable weather.

The year 2025 has come to an end. For us, it was another challenging year, especially in the last few months. We endured numerous casualties, widespread destruction, long power outages, and disruptions to water and heating in many cities.

The month of November turned out to be deeply painful for us.

The month of October has always been a special month. Traditionally in the first half of October, we celebrate Thanksgiving Day (or Harvest Day). This is a day when we specifically focus on giving thanks to the Lord for all His bountiful mercies and generosity.
