February brought us some relief. Although, following the enemy's massive attacks on our energy infrastructure, we faced strict power outage schedules for about two weeks, meaning electricity was available for only 2 - 3 hours a day. However, the weather conditions in February were less severe, which allowed us to catch our breath. With fewer intense frosts and heavy snowfalls, and the gradual improvement in electricity supply during the second half of the month, we felt less exhausted than we did in January. More importantly, your unwavering help and support have kept our spirits high, serving as a strong testimony of Christ’s love.
We are deeply grateful to the Lord and to all of you!
And quite often when we preach the Gospel to people and share the testimony about Christ and His love, we use you as an example, as those through whom Jesus shows this love and care. Glory to the Lord that His faithful disciples follow His example!
One week in February, I had the privilege of teaching a course on the Epistle to the Galatians for UBI students. Together, we examined many important truths regarding God’s grace and the salvation we receive through faith in Christ. A central theme from our studies was the call for God’s children in Christ to live by the Spirit − a life that is marked by love, faithful discipleship, and following Jesus’ example.
Inspired by your care for us, we continue to serve people in their needs. More and more people are coming to our gatherings regularly, that is, regardless of when it is their turn to receive help. I sincerely hope that they are indeed drawn to God’s Word and are gradually approaching that true saving faith, which over time will help them make the most important choice in life.
Alongside our spiritual activities, we continue to provide material assistance to those who are in need. In February, we assisted nearly 100 families with food, hygiene items, medical supplies, and other essentials.
Besides, more than 20 families with young children received essential childcare packages.
We also continue our support for the family of the severely wounded soldier Sasha.
This month, we were unable to hold a formal support group for those who are away from home. However, this does not mean that this ministry has ceased. In reality, something similar happens every Sunday. Before and after each meeting, Olya serves tea and coffee, creating opportunities for rich and meaningful conversation. Even during the brief time that the drinks are being prepared, she offers significant spiritual and emotional support to those present − sometimes to the point of feeling completely exhausted. Yet, she finds this effort worthwhile due to the impact it has on others.
I am attaching a few photos to this letter as a small illustration of our ministries.
We are sincerely grateful to the Lord and you!
May God bless all of you and your families!
